First, let me introduce myself!  My name is Jarod Morrison and I am a Football coach, Math Teacher and Technology Technition at Farmington High School in Farmington, Arkansas.  I consider myself a nerd and I am a coach hence the name of this site.  I am married and have one child, Scout Morrison, who is 10 months old at the time of this writing.

This site is a way for me to organize and advertise the work I already do.  I already provide technology related services to many of my friends and family .  This site will allow me to organize my services and offer them to a wider audience.  Technology is my passion, and since I love working with technology so much, I can't think of a greater "side job" for me to have.

Here is a list of the services that I will offer through this site:

Web Hosting - I have different packages avaliable for different needs.  I specalize in hosting for small business and church sites.  I offer competative prices and a huge list of add on features that the big hosting sites make you pay for.  Plus you have the security of hosting with someone who you can meet face to face, whose name you know, and who is just a phone call or e-mail away.

Web Design - I provide website design reguardless of where you host your site.  However, if you host with nerdycoach.com the amount of design options is much larger.  Most designs are based on a CMS (content management system) which will allow you to make changes to the site once it is up an running.  If you would rather not mess with making the changes yourself see the next service.

Website Maintaince - This is for those who would rather have me maintain their site by making changes in the content and information as time goes on.

Computer Repair/Restoration - If your computer is running slow and you can tell that there is something wrong, I'll clean it up and make sure that it is free from viruses and spyware.  I'll even load it with free antivirus and spyware programs if needed.

Home Networking - If you want to network your home there are many things to consider: wired or wireless, data sharing, security, equipment choices.  Let me help you make the right choices and implement a home network that will allow you to share files, printers, and desktops securely.  I can also build high security firewalls for your home network using that old computer that is collecting dust in your closet.

Technology Consoltation and Implementation - Do you have a project that involves technology and you don't know how to do it?  Let me take a look at your idea and come up with a cost efficent plan to make it happen.  Examples of this include VHS to DVD setup, recording vinyl records to mp3 and CD formats, VOIP communications, Digital photography and video solutions, and anything else you can think of!

If you live in the Northwest Arkansas area all these things can be provided to you on site and at a fair price.  I've seen the price lists for services such as the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy, and I would never think of charging the outrageous prices that many services like these have.  Give me a try and I promise you won't be disappointed.  And please continue to frequent nerdycoach.com as it grows and develops.  If you have any comments please let me know what I can do to make this site better!
